Arrozcaldo or Lugaw a traditional Filipino food usually served during cold rainy days or a comfort food when someone is sick with a cold or fever. It suits the weather today and I am sick. I was thinking to call Chowking and order Congee with century egg. If I had to, I have to order bunch for the rest of people here. I am running out of budget and I need an alternative way. I am sick and stressed….. I felt today that no one cares on the way I feel, I sneeze, colds, and the sounds of my hatchoo seems not very disturbing even I repeatedly do it.  If my mom knew what would my situation now, she will unconditionally take care of me and make me food to comfort me. Today, it’s like I am living in Baguio that no one would take care of you but myself.

I searched for a simple recipe on how to cook Arrozcaldo without a meat and thanks to Luto ko sa Alaska by Khimimi  for a wonderful recipe. It was easy and the ingredients are not hard to find.
