It is common to us that we sometimes eat depends on our mood. There were people who were hungry and yet still choosy on the food to eat. Some would drive 1 km away to buy what they want to eat even their stomach is growling. I think I am one of those people who are choosy to eat and sometimes eat what’s in the table but, I often do that just not to point as “maarte”. I have become one of them just to satisfy my palate, cooks are not “maarte”, we just like to experience how to think, feel, imagine what we going to eat just to satisfy our needs and wants. Remember in a cooking show, they are a lot of ingredients that you cannot find in your home, so you have to go and find it.
One night on our midnight snack and I was wishing to eat spaghetti, it’s 1am and all resto and fastfoood are close. I am hungry and seriously nothing to eat, I mean ready to eat like bread, cookies or anything that could pick up and chew. I was thinking to cook pasta, and my partner was seeing him hesitantly, he imagine how quick am I to cook it. Cooking pasta is easy unless the toppings is as quick as the pasta cooked………………………..
Hekkaido with Tomato Fusilli Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200g of fusilli pasta
- 1 small can of hekkaido sardines
- 1 red onion
- 2 beans of garlic
- 3 medium red tomatoes
- 1/2 of buttercup
- 1 magic sarap
Procedures:
- In a medium casserole, boil the fusilli pasta in a medium heat until the pasta is tender. Cooking time is 10 minutes. Strain and drain to cool it down.
- In a medium pan, bring the butter to melt in a medium heat, then stir it with sliced onion, sliced tomatoes and pound garlic. Cooking time is 3 minutes. Sprinkle one magic sarap sachet.
- Add the drained hekkaido sardines and mixed it together, add butter if necessary. Then server them on top of cooked fusilli pasta.
………………………… And I did! We enjoyed and shared it together.
