I remember my first sushi taste, a day my friend in Baguio make, prepare and brought the home-made sushi to the office for a snack. It has seaweeds wrapper outside and inside is rice stuff with mango and meat loaf. First, I was hesitant to bite and after I tasted it, it was kind off different compared on my everyday normal meal. I have no choice but to eat because I am hungry and saving money, the sushi is free anyway. Then, I was influenced to love sushi. I noticed there are different kinds of preparation of sushi and it varies of stuffing like crab stick, cucumber, apple, etc. My aunt who is a balikbayan from Canada asked me where to find a japanese restaurant because she was craving for sushi. We are at SM Baguio that time so the only I could think is Teriyaki Boy. We went there and ordered whatever sushi she like and her favorite is california maki. l think the most popular sushi is the california maki however, I ordered differently a rice with meat toppitngs. My aunt told me to eat and taste sushi, to deep in a soy and eat sushi as whole. There is a big difference from what my friend prepared and teriyaki boy’s sushi. I have new good experience eating sushi, I feel that I can go to any japanese restaurant and try different kinds of sushi.

One of my favorite japanese restaurant is Enso, I love the jap mayo top on my sushi and that make me 100 percent love sushi. The only jap resto I visited is Enso until there is Makiyaki. The concept is much like with Enso though Makiyaki resto is new and the price is cheaper. I visited Makiyaki many times because of the price differences compare to Enso. When the resto is new they serve the best, if the resto is kinda old the service sometimes sucks. The Makiyaki crew are friendly and approachable, they assist there customer with care and good communication.

I have ordered another one, a sushi with a salmon on the top and has a spicy tuna inside. I has herbs, spices and crunch. This is very new to my taste, it has a slimy and can really taste the salmon. I am innocent eating uncooked and raw fish, but it was a good experiece.
