It is important to keep food in the freezer especially meat like beef, pork and chicken to preserve their goodness and freshness. If you want to keep the meat for a month or longer, use air tight vacuum bag. Fairy Hobmother or Matt Matthew works in appliance store and he gave me a list of Top Five Fridge Freezers. I have been preserving meat without a fridge and I think it’s about time to buy a new one.

Every household need a refrigerator to keep foods in the fridge. In our economy situation prices goes up, the solution is to save. Wasting food is unacceptable! When dealing with cooked meat remember that after 2 hours, at room temperature, cooked meat must be thrown out. You can store cooked meat for 3-5 days in refrigerator. This is true of beef, poultry, and pork. Processed meats, like lunch meat, have a very low tolerance for warmer temperatures. It will only be good for about 2-3 days in the fridge and should be thrown out a week after opening.
Raw meat can be especially dangerous as bacteria continue to grow even in the refrigerator, be very careful to note expiration dates. Meat and food storage safety is especially importantwhen dealing with raw meat. First, when it comes to beef, color alone is not the indicator that you’re looking for, it’s smell. Slime, stickiness, and odor are more important indicators, in anymeat, that you’re dealing with bad meat.

I am wishing to have a new freezer.
I agree that fresh meat is highly perishable and that added precaution should be taken so that it will not be contaminated or spoiled. I miss me Meat Processing courses way back in college!
